Program Support Officer
Full time Maternity Leave Feb 2018 to June 2019
Reports to Executive Director
An energetic morning person and team player who is very organized and is comfortable problem solving creatively in a charity environment.
In this position you will manage a designated, school based, caseload of nutrition programs in Waterloo Region. Your work will be to enhance existing programs and establish good working relationships and standards of operation with new programs and/or new coordinator’s.
You will focus on maintaining a positive rapport and working relationship with school personnel and volunteers ensuring they have required resources to manage their specific program.
You will be responsible for communicating the framework with program coordinators for annual fundraising requirements in collaboration with the Community Development Officer.
As a part of your responsibilities you will ensure compliance with internal controls and policies and established procedures.
Requirements for the Position:
Strong organizational skills with an aptitude for problem solving and team building
Ability to work independently
Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Comfort in speaking publicly about the programs
Valid driver’s license /drivers abstract may be required and own vehicle (mileage paid monthly)
