Permanent Part-Time • 37.5 hours weekly | Monday-Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm (hours may vary)
Location: In-Warehouse (Kitchener), 5 days weekly

Nutrition for Learning offers universally accessible, non-stigmatizing student nutrition programs to schools across Waterloo Region. These programs positively impact the physical, cognitive, behavioural, social, and academic needs of children and youth in our community. We are a registered charitable organization first established in 1997, and support nearly 175 student programs in all three school boards. (WRDSB -Waterloo Region District School Board, WCDSB -Waterloo Catholic District School Board and the French Language Public School Board).

JOB DESCRIPTION
This Role Has Impact.
The Student Nutrition Delivery Driver & School Ambassador plays an important role in ensuring schools across Waterloo Region receive the food and resources they need to support student nutrition programs. As one of the organization's frontline representatives, this individual helps create positive experiences for school partners while ensuring products are delivered safely, accurately, and efficiently.
This role combines delivery responsibilities with warehouse support activities, inventory assistance, shipping and receiving, and operational support. The successful candidate enjoys working independently while also being part of a collaborative team that is committed to ensuring students have access to nutritious food at school.

Job Purpose.
Student nutrition programs rely on dependable logistics, accurate deliveries, and responsive support. The Student Nutrition Delivery Driver & School Ambassador helps ensure the smooth movement of food and supplies from Nutrition for Learning's warehouse to schools and community partners throughout Waterloo Region.
This role supports daily logistics operations through deliveries, pickups, inventory assistance, warehouse organization, shipping and receiving, and operational support activities while maintaining exceptional customer service and food safety standards.
You Will:
Serve as an Ambassador for Nutrition for Learning by fostering positive, respectful, and collaborative relationships with schools, volunteers, suppliers, and community partners.
Complete scheduled deliveries and pickups safely, efficiently, and professionally.
Demonstrate exceptional customer service and kindness in all interactions.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Ensure the safe handling, transportation, and storage of food and supplies.
Support shipping and receiving activities.
Assist with inventory counts, product organization, and stock rotation.
Support warehouse cleaning, organization, and food safety practices.
Assist with order preparation, packing, and delivery verification.
Maintain accurate delivery records and related documentation.
Ensure company vehicles are clean, fueled, and operating safely.
Assist with warehouse projects, special events, and operational initiatives.
Support ordering and inventory replenishment activities as required.
Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and school partners.
Assist with general warehouse duties, errands, and operational support tasks.
Follow all Nutrition for Learning policies, procedures, and food handling requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
You Bring:
A valid Ontario G Driver's License.
A clean driver's abstract.
A satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check.

Previous delivery, warehouse, logistics, or customer service experience is considered an asset.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to regularly lift and move up to 80 lbs.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
Ability to safely load and unload vehicles.
Ability to work in warehouse and outdoor environments throughout all seasons.
