SMOOTH START
Help provide DIY meal stations for students in Waterloo Region!
“At first, I felt hesitant, but I kept smelling the soup all over the hallways and heard all the laughter, so I wanted to see what was up. It turned out no one cared that I didn’t have lunch; everyone was just enjoying soup and hot buns with apples and snacks, having a really good time and making friends. I go to soup day all the time now, for more than just a meal.”
-Grade 9 student, Kitchener
ELEVATING THE MEAL EXPERIENCE!
Food is community and when students gather to create a meal together, they are building connections and friendship! This Spring, Nutrition for Learning is expanding our DIY Meal Stations to more schools from across the region. We’re currently assisting schools host a variety of stations for their students, including oatmeal breakfasts, yogurt parfaits, delicious smoothies, taco lunches, soup stations and more — and we want more students to experience this opportunity!
BE PART OF THE MOVEMENT!
Every donation made before March 1 will go directly to supporting
interactive meal hubs at schools across Waterloo Region!
