Resources in Waterloo Region
Nutrition for Learning has become synonymous with school nutrition in Waterloo Region, and we’re so grateful to have been of-service to students here for twenty-five years! We support students in classrooms at 164 schools and growing throughout the school year.
Our mission is to support the overall well being of students and their ability to learn by ensuring that every student can attend school well nourished.
Since school doesn’t stop in summer, Nutrition for Learning is supporting 23 summer school student nutrition programs in our region (12 WRDSB schools & 11 WCDSB schools).
During the COVID closure of schools we ran POP UP Programs to support students learning at home at home and this summer, learning is back in the schools for most students.
